Post by: Lozo777 on October 15, 2010, 01:25:41 AM
I won a $10 iTunes giftcard but I'm not sure what to buy.. I'm leaning more on getting Monster Monster by The Almost but I just wanna know if anybody has any suggestions.

Depends what kind of music you like. If you're into the heavier stuff, get Eternal by War of Ages. Or Breaker by For Today.

Duudee I love that album. War Of Ages is like the only good Facedown Records band. haha Maybe I will get it.

I already own all the songs I like from For Those Who Wait..
And I was looking at that album but ah idk.. Disciple is good but meh.

I've listened to it and I own 2 songs from it actually. ha Idk it's a great album and all but it doesn't seem like the type of album I'd listen to over and over again. I love Dear X and Remedy though!

Good album...

Pretty much all of War of Ages' albums are good, one of few bands that I like every song on every album.

YES! I don't see why everyone hated the PtH and Dreamer albums, I really liked those...

I guess Stephen Keech > The Chaulk Brothers.  :-\

He wasn't that bad, I kinda liked him in Burning Bridges and When Everything Falls. I want to find the That They May Know You EP, but I've yet to come across it except on YouTube.

I absolutely LOVE Attack of the Wolf King, though. Especially their Meet Me Half Way cover for the Black Eyed Peas.

You should have bought Secret & Whisper-Teenage Fantasy that band/album is way to unknown they are amazing (also if you want to hear a full album before you buy it (mainly rock/metal christian stuff and a few secular) hit me up I'm 99% sure I'd have it (and if TVU plays it on regular time or battery or TMW I know I have it) hit me up and you can stream my 40gb library via hamachi

Is Bad Religion an Islamic band? ;)!

(Don't get offended anyone....)

EDIT: ChaCha said Extol is the best Christian band.

Ahh, I've only heard the singles. I mainly just listen to their Myspace Music. XOXOXO is the only song I own of theirs. Great White Whale, Warrior, Edge of Wilderness, and Anchors Acoustic are pretty awesome.
oh, and Spider Besider.

Ha believe me I've heard almost everything there is to hear that's christian.
I'm not the biggest SAW fan but I like a few songs of theirs. I actually played MW2 with them on xbox live last summer and kicked their butts ;)

Except The Classic Crime<SAW. Although, I've seen The Classic Crime in concert. With Children 18:3 and Brian Head Welch, so they were highly outclassed.

Head was amazing.
Children were good as GaGa.
I was not content.

I saw Children 18:3 and Welch at lifelight. Both of which were amazing.. But The Almost was 10x better ha

And you can't use Lady GaGa! That's for me only Rawr! D:

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but...

Seth pwns Gillespie. Of course, he's not The Almost's drummer anymore (never was for touring), but I believe he still writes it.

You don't understand.
Children seriously failed.
Just like second grade.

Ah I respect Aaron so much though. He's like a rolemodel haha

Meh. I agree and disagree. They're both great but I think I'd buy Monster Monster before Rain's 'A Comin'

Children 18:3 are more original.

aaand Children 18:3>Rain's 'A Comin'. Although, I haven't heard all of that album yet, but the self titled one is awesome.

If you haven't heard Stronger yet then you're missing out. It's by far their best song

It's still more controlled than some of the stuff on their self titled. It's good, but not LCM good.
