Reasons for Resistance to Redemption

I've been playing since 2002, and try as I might, there is no real unified player base here (that I know of) in Indiana. It's depressing. This is a great game, and a powerful tool for evangelism, discipleship, breaking down barriers between churches.. the list goes on. It is excellent in every way, world class, first rate and is filled with the power of God's Word.
So, I don't get why so few people "get it"

Adults need to get involved in order for it to really take off. "Here's the game, it's cool, and here's what it will do for the kids" I get no takers. Resistance in so many forms.
Religious people think there shouldn't be evil cards, or "we shouldn't be playing with the Bible", or (my favorite) they flat REFUSE to talk to me about it to even tell me why they run from it!
Secular gamers of course look at it and say "Bible? Gay."

I don't even buy cards any more

Can I get a witness? Or, am I alone?

Here's what I do to introduce Redemption to secular players:
"Check this out: It's a Christian game that, unlike every other Christian game ever, actually is fun!"

Another plus is that it requires very little Christian knowledge to play.  The only problem we've had is testaments.

As for Christians shunning their own game...Well, I've got a rant on that, but nobody wants to hear it.

*sigh* people in my area won't play (talking about people that already don't play) because they fear that, OH MY GOSH SOMEONE MAY FIND OUT and their social reputation would be ruined. I've actually had a few people explicitly say that to me, and the reason others wont' play is pretty much for that reason.
It makes me so sad  :'(

I disagree with the second statement its true that many people see Redemption and say this is lame but I know that most of the people who I have seen say that and then actually play the game change their mind because of how different the game is from most other card games on the market.
