Title: A New Topic for Debate...
Post by: Colin Michael on August 19, 2009, 05:29:21 PM
Does breakfast at 2:55 without having gone to bed yet count as breakfast or brinner?

Depends on what you ate.

I believe that qualifies as Fourthmeal.

You guys are thinking about this question too hard. It counts as breakfast.

Does breakfast at 2:55 without having gone to bed yet count as breakfast or brinner?

I went to bed shortly after wards, I think that makes it brinner.

And by "breakfast" the first time I mean "breakfast food".

I suppose the question should be: "just breakfast" or brinner?

Breakfast is the meal you eat after waking up from your longest period of sleep in a given day. It's a "break" from your "fast" during the time you were sleeping.

I agree that a 2:55 AM meal would be fourthmeal (assuming you had 3 prior meals that day, otherwise it would be supper).

No one is familiar with the term "brinner" are they?

The important thing is that it was breakfast food.

Wow, I just realised that I had breakfast at 2am two other nights this week at Waffle House (though this time I made it myself. The hashbrowns were amazing.)

Tea time is supposed to be mid-afternoon, I think.  But those British are wild, so who knows.

BTW, since most of you seem to be unfamiliar with the "Fourthmeal" name ...

Well, maybe mid-afternoon for them happens simultaneously with "ungodly hours of the morning" here.
