I've got a bit side-tracked on this, mainly because all of my XLR cables are broken and the vocals sound bad with the combination of a concert mic, a XLR to 1/4 inch, my Bluesy falsetto, the fact that I like to have my vocals near spike range for effect, the compression to compensate, and the bit of amp fuzz I use. On top of that, I probably won't be able to mic the drum set and will have to resort to tracks. Also, none of the words in metal songs rhyme. I experimented with the ABR song, the Haste the Day song, and the FF5 song. The lyrics fit in some places, but not others.

And yeah, it's Garageband unfortunately. If I get to Polarius' house before my birthday, I could feasibly do this on protools.

Despite all these things, I'm actually taking some time to learn some blues theory from a book I've had on my shelf for a while which is good.

I don't really know how to classify the different hard sounds. It's probably metal. Actually, it's whatever RED is (sounds most similar).

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to have a video ready in time. I've been sick the past few days and haven't had the opportunity to put anything together. I will probably shoot a few videos just for fun and post them as soon as I shoot them.

Okay. Like I said, I've been sick for the past few days. I lost my voice and it still isn't completely back yet. Hopefully it will be soon so I can record a video. The main challenge will be finding someone who has a digital video camera.
