Anyone else seen this movie yet? I liked it... but I thought that it needed a better ending. Anyone else have any comments?

I also felt the ending was unsatisfactory. What I expected...

...was for the deceased to be brought back to life with the sphere thingy.

I would have been okay with that, but the ending that was used was just inconclusive. I also felt like the movie tried to fit too much into an hour and a half, when I think it should have been two hours.

Alright, sure, but I don't know if I want to see the sequel now, if there is one. ::)

EDIT: What would they even call it? 9 2?

They could just call it 18?

More probable though would be 10. and release it on 10/10/2010.

Here's what my ending was...

So the machine had one flaw: "it doesn't have the human soul." So... the nine creations are the scientists soul, write? So I thought the scientist made them to be his soul, knowing that the robot would destroy them and absorb them, and now the scientists soul would be in the robot. It totally makes sense, because now the robot would have a soul, and it could do good.

I thought it was going to be a lot cooler than it was. It was kinda disappointing in that aspect and ya, the ending needed to be better.

It's an animation movie about after all humans have died, this scientist made these 9 "dolls" that have human traits and their struggle in the world against some of the machines that destroyed the world. It had some cool parts, but I didn't need to pay for a movie ticket, I could've waited for the video or dollar theater.
