Incredibles was good, and I have yet to see Kung Foo Panda and How to Train your Dragon.

Hold on - You have the Secret of Nimh above Nemo and Monsters? I mean, yeah the animation was decent, but the story was horrific.

Top 10 Animated Movies:
1 - The Incredibles - cool super powers, but normal family issues
2 - Up - both fantastical, yet with amazingly poignant reality
3 - Finding Nemo - awesome mix of humor, sweetness, and significance
4 - Monsters Inc. - characters you love, and funny repeat viewings
5 - Toy Story - who hasn't dreamed of their toys coming to life
6 - Shrek - really turned animated movies upside down
7 - Beauty and the Beast - the pinnacle of the traditional Disney movie
8 - Jungle Book - almost 50 years old, and still worth watching repeatedly
9 - Peter Pan - over 50 years old, but never grew up
10 - Ice Age - one of the funniest animated movies ever

Those were good, but just don't seem as good with repeated viewings as the ones I listed.

Interesting thing about me: Aside from crying out of pain or sadness, I find myself on rare ocassions “crying” (at least, eyes watering) due to a rather indescribable feeling which pretty much only intense Disney music - especially from the Lion King era - can offer. That said, these are my top favorite animated musicals (ordered by musical quality):

1. The Hunchback of Notre Dame (The Bells of Notre Dame, God Help the Outcasts, Hellfire, A Guy Like You, Den of Thieves...*chills*)
2. The Prince of Egypt (All I Ever Wanted, Heaven's Eyes, Deliver Us)
3. Aladdin (Arabian Nights, One Jump Ahead, Friend Like Me, Prince Ali)
4. The Road to El Dorado (opening song, The Trail We Blaze, It's Tough to Be a God)
5. Pocahontas (Mine Mine Mine, Just Around the River Bend, Savages, Colors of the Wind)
6. Hercules (The Gospel Truth, I Can Go the Distance, One Last Hope)
7. The Little Mermaid (Under the Sea, Poor Unfortunate Souls)
8. The Lion King (The Circle of Life, Be Prepared)
9. Mulan (Reflection, I'll Make a Man Out of You, A Girl Worth Fighting For)
10. Anastasia (Once Upon a December, Journey to the Past, In the Dark of the Night)
11. Spirit (Can't Take Me...the rest all sound the same, but they're pretty good)
12. Home on the Range (Little Patch of Heaven, and the yodeling song is amazing; thought this was worth mentioning because this was like the last decent 2D-Animated movie made)

With the 3D craze and all, Disney really just doesn't make 'em like they used to. It's still king, but in a slightly less musical Pixar way.

I despise Disney. Sure, they made some good movies back in the good ol' days, but everything they turn out now is meh and bratty.

And also, produced by their "B" animation studio in Florida, the same guys who did Mulan, while the "A" guys were busy running the animation franchise into the ground.

Buying Pixar was the best thing Disney had done in a generation, because even though Pixar gets to keep their brand and do their own thing, John Lasseter is now basically in charge of all Disney animation. IMO their product has improved since then, and the direct-to-video schlock franchising has diminished substantially.

If you consider completely realistic vodoo, demons, people being dragged to hell begging for their life while making promises so the demons won't kill them, and other such things "good". It deeply unsettled me, My parents had to cover my younger siblings eyes because of how it was. How in the world it pulled a G rating is BEYOND me. Guess the world considers demons child appropriate now.
