It's an interesting idea, but I don't think Warrior's ability is really strong enough to make it worthwhile having to attack with Soldier 3 times first (because his decrease ability won't activate unless he's in battle) as basically a no s/a initiative hero.

I would agree! How about something like this: "Starts as Soldier and decreases 1/1 per turn until he reaches 0/0. Heal Soldier and become Warrior. Warrior may discard an Evil Character in battle or search deck for any good enhancement and play it. Cannot be prevented." This way he gets the decrease and plays all red and once he dies he is healed to Warrior with a little more potent ability. What do you think? I really like the dual name Hero idea!

I didn't want to make him too powerful, but if you guys think he's not powerful enough, i'm all for a better ability!
