So we've all played Disciples, and have experienced the wonder of the new pointy fortresses. However, these new sites are a little bit on the OP'd side. After the domination of TGT, I think Cactus overcompensated. Instead of just ruining a strategy altogether, why not make it possible, yet uncomfortable?
Examples (Not balanced, just off the top of my head):
Golgatha: If opponent rescues a lost soul due to an ignore ability, you may draw X.
X = # of opponent's redeemed souls
CP: Each time an opponent's cards harms a site under your control, you may discard a character in his territory. (This may work better CBN)
Nazareth: (Protect from shuffle), Each time an opponent uses a search ability, you may also use it.
I think cards like this would lead to a much more strategic game, with slightly less emphasis on deckbuilding, and more in-game focus.
Just some thoughts from a n00b.

The sites aren't really OP IMO. They are definately hindrances but you can get around them. You can still make a successful TGT deck Golgatha isn't impossible to get around. Land Dispute + Benedictus (which is recurrable) same thing with CP which made Abom really hard to use but not impossible. I think they made the sites awesomely and they were completely needed. Nazzy will change the game for a long time I think making Search a none viable theme.
But look at the bright side supposedly alot of site counters are coming ;)

True, but you can discuss our current sites anywhere else. I was wondering about expanding the definition of "counter" from just stopping to allowing, but making it really uncomfortable. The sites were just examples.

Ah I see what your saying its an interesting concept but then it really wouldn't be a counter it would be a cost of ignoring (for example) and the opponent would get a benefit thats not really a counter IMO.

Another thought:
Why would Kindness from (Di) ignore an EC? I would think the hero would do more than just ignore him besides giving him something aka D2. How about return the EC to hand instead- like helping him up? :)

About the Sites: beyond the Di Sites, CP doesnt really protect many sites. Almost all of the other sites that are good (ex. Hormah, Babylonain Banquet Hall, etc.) are not protected by it.
Nazzy's okay, but I don't think it will be overplayed or abused because a lot of people like to search and that stops it.
Golgatha is okay, but it'd only work for the one time ur opponent plays his ignore card. After that its just another White Site.

The point is not to print counters that outright stop something, they just make it really uncomfortable to use. Imagine something like this:
Pointy fortress
Site: If your opponent's hero is protected from your Evil Character in battle, you may discard a character in his territory or set aside area, regardless of protection.
Sure, you can go thadding all day, but I'll be killing off your characters while you do.
