Lost Soul that wants to be found

The SAs of Lost Soul cards make them more difficult to rescue, as if they wanted to stay lost. However, there are exceptions in the Bible, most notably the Ethiopian Treasurer.

Sooooo.......

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lost Soul

"While this Lost Soul is in a Land of Bondage, negate the special ability of all Lost Soul cards (except the Lost Souls card) in all other Lands of Bondage. Cannot be negated."

Acts 8:30-31 -  And when Philip had run up, he heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?" And he said, "Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?" And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

The "Lost Souls" exception is no longer needed, since it has been determined that the Lost Souls card's SA is CBN, to save the text (since no card would ever negate it's ability anyway). Also, it should probably negate Lost Soul abilities in your territory too, otherwise it would be OP'd. Also, it should probably only start after the first phase it is put in play, so that if you draw a bunch of LS's and do what they say, and then later in the phase, you draw/reveal that LS, things don't get too messy.

Otherwise, I really like it.

I was figuring that eventually many players would have one too, to negate your other LSs, hence the CBN. By keeping the "other LoB" clause, things won't get so messy when you draw a bunch in the same turn. I also figured that any OPedness would be lost in Type 2 since you can choose this one first anyway. In Type 1, I recently found myself in the peculiar paradox of having my Nebushasban and Exchanger LS work against me to keep me from rescues. If anything, it would simply force my opponent to use his SoG or Burial on this LS instead of one of his own.

I think I would add a "one per deck" limit. This might get made, yeha!

I like that idea, but how do I word that? If it were a character, I could say "You may only have one BrianGabe per deck," but since this is a LS I am confused.  ???

Would it still be OP if it negated all LSs period, as the Professor suggested?

1 IAS negates all. 2 IAS takes up your art slot and only lasts 2 turns.

If you make it negate all I think its balanced.

How about an additional clause of "This Lost Soul may not be placed in a site."

"When this lost soul is not in a site..." That way if you really NEEDED to site it (for say TBlast) you could.

If the card said, "When this Lost Soul is general Land of Bondage, negate all special abilities on Lost Soul cards. Cannot be negated," then I think I would like it. It's still quite powerful...
