So if he does the first ability he should become a lost soul in your opponents land of bondage.

The first ability lets him remove a Soul from the game, which should probably be limited.  It should also reveal your hand and discard all evil to prove you did so.

I'm not sure it is balanced still, but both those things would need to be looked at regardless.

Also, should be minimum requirement of evil cards, so you don't just get off with showing opponent your hand.

I think both abilities are really good. They don't need to be on the same card.

Yeah, this becomes the ultimate splash card.

The ability is supposed to mirror the ultimatum that Jesus gave the rich young ruler.

If you want it to match the story better, then it should not remove any card from the game.  For one, that can remove Souls, which shouldn't happen, but it can also remove Good, which doesn't match the 'benefit' of selling what he had.

What if he allowed you to discard all evil cards and capture to opponent's LoB to withdraw all heroes in battle; if block is successful, opponent may draw 2 cards.  Long, but it fits the concept better.

However, I would put forward that there shouldn't be a redemption option; this story shows that the rich man could not let go of what he had, and went away sad and discouraged.  The ability should focus on that instead IMO.

Technically speaking, all it said was that he went away sad, it said nothing about what his choice was. If Jesus told me to sell all my possessions and give the money to the poor I may very well walk away sad even if I went through with it.

Finish the passage, it's pretty clear from Jesus' statements that he would not do it.

Quote
And Jesus, looking around, said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” They were even more astonished and said to Him, “Then who can be saved?” Looking at them, Jesus *said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”

Also, Jesus was 'just a popular teacher' to people like the rich young man, not the Son.  He would not listen to him as someone who was telling him the very truth of God, but more like a very well-respected pastor.  In this story, the rich man is likely trying to prove to himself that he is a good man, by getting the blessing of a man of God.   Note how he knows what commandments will be said, and you can just hear his confidence and satisfaction as he says "Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up."  He gets sad when he realizes there is something else being asked of him beyond that.

Says pretty clear. Quotes passage that doesn't say what the rich man did afterwards.

Crystal clear bro.
