Act 17:19 And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?
Act 17:20 For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.
Act 17:21 (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.
Evil Fortress
At each player's upkeep, if that player has an evil character in play, they draw a card. If a Greek character enters battle, you may look at the top 3 cards of your draw pile.
Indentifier: This fortress may hold an artifact that depicts an idol.
Combo with Abomb, hehe =D

It could even include: If there's a Saul/Paul character in play, he becomes Paul.

I would reword it a little: "Each player with an Evil Character in play during his upkeep phase draws a card. When a Greek enters battle, look at the top three cards of a deck and return them in any order."

Agreed, well done!

A lot of Aereopagus ideas have been made, and this is not one of the better ones.
-
good thing there's only like 5 Greek EC's...now TGT/Abom is OP'd more than TGT already is because they won't put down EC's and then they'll just walk in with a TGT hero.

thanks for the encouragement...not!

I haven't seen any of the other ideas for this as far as I can remember, but I like this one just fine.

Whereas I like the idea of having a fort that holds an artifact depicting an idol, I think that might be too powerful to have added onto a fort just because it makes sense (which it does in this case) because of cards like Golden Calf, Household Idols, Captured Ark, Unknown Nation and Asherah Pole are already very powerful.
I think this card would be more interesting it this ability would work on the opposite upkeep, because its based on evil characters and they get used on your opponents turn it would make sense that they would get first use of the new card and it would be even better in multiplayer, and it would also dodge the hand limit. Otherwise I like the idea (with BubbleBoy's modification)

Ah, I misread this card. For some reason I thought it said that every player with a Greek Evil Character draws a card each upkeep. I also missed that it holds an idol (which I like).
My main beef with it is that I'd hate to see the premier Greek fortress printed without offering any protection to Greeks in territory.

How about something like this:
Areopagus
Evil Fortress
{Holds one idol or evil altar}
"While no Evil Character is in battle, protect Greeks in your territory from opponent's cards. During each player's upkeep phase, reveal the top three cards of that player's deck. He draws one of his choice and places the rest beneath deck. If no Greek Evil Character is in play, shuffle this card into deck."
Acts 17:19
That may be a little much, but it would be fun.
-
Now that's an Areopagus!

Me likey ;D

This is good but it may not work with abom given the "reveal " part. maybe a simple "draw top card" command to ensure that it works with abom.
-
It does work, since it specifies that he draws one of the revealed cards.

Bubbleboy's idea is one of the best I've seen. I'm a HUGE fan.
