Solomon
11/9 Purple Hero, WC
-King of Israel-
"Search deck for Solomon's Temple and/or Glory of the lord and put in play. You may activate an Artifact on that temple immediately. May band with an O.T. Female Hero."
How's that?

If they do a reprint of Solomon, maybe they'll make him gold/purple.
Of all the kings, I don't think he should be warrior class. God specifically talks about him building the temple because he was a man of peace. He "conquered" surrounding enemies by marrying all their daughters hence the ability to band to a female hero. Although true, I think that was more of a failure on Solomon's part, not a good ability.
As for the original idea:

I think it would be nice if it had some additional ability on there. Maybe to represent the cleansing to prepare for the GOTL and the benefit of it arriving?

"If The Tabernacle or Solomon's Temple is in play and you have no evil enhancements or curses in play, then search deck or discard pile for GOTL and play it to ... make opponent discard an evil card from hand. Cannot be interrupted."
or ... protect your good cards and artifacts in territory from effect."
or ... band all of your O.T. heroes into battle."

All kings are WC.

All kings are WC.
Melchizedek
May band with an O.T. Female Hero.
Doesn't seem like an ability related to the good attributes of Solomon.

If you look at it narrowly, yes. But he wrote so much love poetry that it got its own book in divine canon.
Also, all kings that demonstrably had an army is what I meant. The point is that the commander of an army is WC even if you never fought.

I understand that but what if the army never fought? I think the commander is considered WC indirectly through the fighting of the troops. If he never commanded the troops because the troops never fought then I don't think he would be warrior class. Just possessing troops IMHO is not enough.
I Kings 4:24,25 talks about there being peace and safety for the people of Isreal all the days of Solomon.
It just seems that of all kings he would be the one that is not a warrior but peaceful.

Is King Lemuel WC? If he is, then Solomon needs to be. If he is not, then Solomon shouldn't be.
-
king lem is not wc :(
-
Oh well. That's unfortunate but what can you do?

Photoshop a WC symbol on him
