Title: Sons of Korah
Post by: Shofarblower on July 12, 2010, 07:52:27 PM
Assir
White Hero
3/4

Protect your White Brigade Musicians from Brown Brigade evil Characters this turn.

Exo 6:24  And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
Musician

Elkanah
White Hero
4/4

Holder may play an enhancement involving music or band to a Musician.

Exo 6:24  And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
Musician

Abiasaph
White Hero
2/4

Hero may hold any good enhancement or artifact depicting a musical instrument, until discarded.

Exo 6:24  And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
Musician

The idea behind these is found in the prefix to some of the psalms.......

Psa 42:1  <To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah.>
Psa 44:1  <To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, Maschil.>
Psa 45:1  <To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves.>
(There are more but I think 3 is enough)

.....and the idea for them being heroes is based on this.....

Num 26:11  Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.

I had fun with the numbers, each is music based (time signatures in this case).

I love them all. On Assir I'd have it add to protect LS's too. I'm not quite sure of Abisjhnojbnsf would break the game, though.

I don't think so due to it says depicting an instrument, not involving music. Love them!

I adore the last two, and would use them in probably every musician deck I make, but Assir...I'm just not a big fan of cards that exclusively target specific brigades, unless those brigades are equally specifically powerful against that theme.

Just found a white brigade card that scares me a little for Abiasaph:

Praises

All white brigade heroes in holders territory must join the battle.

It has a picture of women dancing and holding Tambourines, a musical instrument.

I am going to rethink Abiasaph and Assir.

yeah that could break the game a little considering TGT heroes that are white and other white heroes that do lots of damage if banded together every turn

King David, Musician's Chambers, Protection of Angels, Davids Music, Cymbols of Levites, Case Closed.

Musicians are good but TGT is better.
