I've had an idea similar to this bumping around in my head for a while and finally sat down to make it.

Enables older search abilities to hit reserve, gives a deck search one-time access to discard, lets recursion pull from deck at the cost of slowing down. A concern was voiced that it becomes as auto-include as Covenant with Gabe of Prayer, but I feel like the cost of taking up the artifact slot for a turn (and, to my knowledge, not activatable anywhere else) makes up for its utility and possible reuse.

If you added a Dominant exclusion it might work, although I haven't gone through all the possibilities. You could remove the ability to target Discard Pile to get rid of recursion shenanigans, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it.

...whoops.

Yeah, I think a dominant exclusion is the way to go. That said, T2 makes everything harder, so I don't know what sort of other shenanigans might be possible with something like this. I agree that it likely wouldn't be worth it for just reserve/deck. If it ended up dropping the discard, I'd probably make it so that it just stayed up and maybe make it activatable somewhere other than art pile (perhaps on a site, to keep the theme).
