3/3 Red Covenant

Prevent any ability played by your opponent which would cause a card to be placed in your land of bondage.

Deut.33:29 "Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”

I like this Idea a lot. I'm assuming that would include cards placed on heroes?

Since they are in your territory, yes, although those could be played on them in battle still.  This card would not remove opponent's cards from your territory, just prevent future ones.

It's not only helpful against things like Abom, but it's a good way to slow down some speed cards - like Harvest Time, Amal Slave, Night Raid, Dungeon of Malciah, Hopper.  I don't like that it helps Garden Tomb a lot, but Captured Ark, DON, Lying unto God and other artifact destroyers could hopefully take care of it.

Uggh, that screws Abom pretty bad, we already have CP to do that.

Note that I just modified this card, because it would have stopped things that I don't want stopped, like Image of Jealousy, Destructive Sin, Abom, etc.

Now it just stops cards from being placed into your land of bondage by an opponent, like Am Slave, captured heroes, Hopper, Harvest Time, Revealer, etc.  I was trying to think of another creative way to slow down speed.  I wanted the card to be situational, as opposed to "every deck should have one".

You need to change it so it has the same ability as but has like a cost like, Every time opponent places a card in your territory he must discard a card from hand and territory or something like that.

It went from OP to UP. Since Red kind of has a deck discard theme, I'd take CJ's idea but make it when he places a card in your territory you can Discard the top card from his deck.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

How about when a card is placed in your land of bondage?

Makes it UP. That happens far too infrequently for anyone to use the card.

Since speed is still overplayed up here, I'd personally like a card that stops Hopper, Wanderer/Exchanger, Harvest Time, Am Slave, Dungeon of Malcaiah, Joseph before Pharaoh, Night Raid, Malchus, etc.  But you're right, it's an extremely situational card now.
