Isa 51:9-10 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
7/7 Brown/Gold Beast, Demon, Unique

Shouldn't it have orange?
-
Yeah youre right, I'm sorry I wasn't paying enough attention. Forgive me. Good job paying attention.
-
That aside, I like it :)
It fits with one of my many decks
-
Nice SA, but I don't think that verse means what you think it means.
-
I looked up the Hebrew and dragon also meant sea monster, sea serpent, etc. That Rahab isn't the Rahab from Judges and it's also a type & symbol of Egypt.
-
Yes, but why is it a demon?
-
It being a demon represents the dark forces operating behind gentile powers, like the Egyptains enslaving the nation of Israel, the "seed" of Jacob. It's also a type of Satan, Isa 27:1.
It also ought to be pictured as a crocodile, Egypt is symbolized by a croc in scripture.
Ps 74:13 & Ez 29:3

I like it too.

It would be cool to have a Brown\Gold\Orange EC.
Wouldn't that be the first three-tone EC?
-
I believe it would be.
-
I'm missing the reason it's brown, what is it?

If you have a Strongs KJV, look up the Hebrew words: 7292-7294. That's the Hebrew this Rahab is derived from. It basically means proud, or a bolster. Since brown represents rebellion I figured it fit, but honestly now I think it would best be Gold/Orange. I do think 3 colors would be cool, but I don't think they'd ever make it 3 colors.

You're right. I looked up other scriptures depicting Egypt as an animal, but they don't include Rahab. I think the best verse that shows Egypt as a type of crocodile would be Ez 29:3
Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

I forgot to include Egyptian as an identifier.
