The votes are in! It was close the entire way with a lot of good back and forth. While The Watchman ended with a couple more votes in the end, clearly the community wants both The Watchman and Paul. Thanks to multiple people for suggesting - "why not just make both of them". You've been heard!
This week we're going to vote on the brigade(s). You can vote more than once but only vote for the brigade(s) you want Paul to have. In the end, if multiple brigades have close to the same amount of votes this Hero will have all of those brigades.
Voting will last for 1 week.
***Next week we will vote for special abilities! PLEASE PM ME YOUR SUGGESTION AS FOLLOWS. DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS BELOW (posts will be deleted).

Each player may submit 1 special ability each for The Watchman and Paul.
Only 1 PM per board member. Include your suggested SA for both Heroes. All PMs after the first will not be used so make sure you've thought it through well before sending.

I vote Clay/Green/Teal for NT after Pentecost, Paul being a Prophet, and also a Priest/Preacher. If not Teal then definitely the first two.

Where does it say he was a priest? I'm not aware of any verse like that.

He wasn't a priest. He was a Benjamite.

It was just my line of thinking....lol. Preacher.....priest.....but whatever.....I still say definitely Clay/Green.

I had thought only the actual disciples were getting purple and that the apostles were getting clay on reprints?

Apostle doesn't have any meaning in the game presently. There was talk about giving it meaning during EC development but that didn't happen.

My personal argument as an academic student of the Bible is that the identifier Disciple should never have been what it is and should have been Apostle. Now, my argument and opinion isn't worth a hill of beans in most people's eyes at this point but thought I'd throw that out there.

While idealistically you may be completely correct, I think given that the majority of Redemption players (Including myself) understand the Disciple and Apostle titles the way they are commonly known, the current representation of them in the game is for the best.
