I feel like Helmet of Brass would be awesome on Paladin.

I 'd like to see stoning of Steven be black/grey to reflect both Sadducees and pharisees in the mob.

To my understanding it was primarily the Sanhedrin who stoned Stephen, and since the Sanhedrin are black in redemption, I made it black.

Actually, Sanhedrin is an EE, and is multicolor.  It adds all Pharisees and Sadducees to battle.  Also, Paul, a Pharisee, was the one approving all the stonings.

Biblically, there were members of both sects in the Sanhedrin.  When Paul was brought before the Sanhedrin for questioning, he saw that there were members of both sects.  So he said that he believed in the resurrection of the dead, which divided the group and brought some Pharisees on to his side, because they believed in the resurrection and the Sadducees didn't.

You could make it multicolored and say "If used by a Sadducee or Pharisee"

paladin should do SOMETHING if he is that big. like, negate demons or something like that. not an epic effect, but something.

I actually like Paladin without a special ability. You don't want him to have something good enough to be uber splashable, and this way you can have him and Windows of Narrow Light for a 12/12 that can use 4 colors and is protected from capture, conversion, and removal.

I mean, a negate demons ability isnt uber splashable, really. or something else like that.

With that epic picture, Paladin deserves a epic ability to match.

you dont wanna give him an epic one.he would just be used in a deck like sam decks, and would be annoying. especially since he has four colors. he can play AOCP, David's Triumph, bravery of david, trumpet and sword, sam's edict, deborah's directive, and others like that. if he has an ability, it takes out Sam's Edict, at least from being as good. so a negate demons special ability would be best. and it kinda fits for Paladin.

I was kinda joking. Just give him his old ability.

You shouldn't make Paladin too powerful. ;)

But definitely make him more powerful than the original...   ;D

what, banding?

Access to gold sites. Discard a non-human evil character with */3 or less. (and something else, I can't remember)

Stoning should be gray/black and only "if used by a Pharisee or Sadducee". The other NT evil characters had nothing to do with Stephens death. I like Paladin with no special ability as well...or "can use enhancements of any color except silver"...since he is not an angel.
