Unless you referring to:
RA King Amaziah. Choose old school 1/1 to block. Use Unholy Writ on King Amaziah. Add Ahimilek to battle. Covenant of Palestine to get Amaziah back, not that he's needed anymore...

I just can't get over how badly he could ruin a deck by getting rid of DaA, FBoat, CoF, Lampstand, ZTemple, David's Seat, CP, Golgotha, his uses are completely endless. King David is a good option too, not that people won't be trying purple/red. It was really sick before we added the OT restriction to King Amazing and you could add TGT peeps.

Assyrian Siege Army is one of the most useful evil characters for that reason. Last season, who wouldn't want to get rid of Fishing Boat or TGT? This season, who doesn't want to chuck a Gates of Samaria or Tower of Thebez or Lampstand with DoN in your hand?

Assyrian Siege Army is one of the most useful evil characters for that reason. Last season, who wouldn't want to get rid of Fishing Boat or TGT? This season, who doesn't want to chuck a Gates of Samaria or Tower of Thebez or Lampstand with DoN in your hand?

...which is why he'll get AotL'ed super fast, almost as quickly as something like KoT. Good thing I got my Assyrian Camp before the set was revealed...

Red needed improving, but I'm not sure if Canaanites will do much. Phillys were already powerful and Canaanites are pretty small.

Philistines and Canaanites were so OP during playtesting that we had to alter Tower of Thebez so it only worked if all your ECs were Canaanites.

Yes. Cards referencing "David" can refer to any copy; however, cards referencing "King David" only refer to the card titled "King David."

Yeah, if it says David, it can band to King David or david. If it says bands to Kind David, it can't band to David, only King David.

Nah you're fine. They didn't get enough help to be that big of a deal, they might see a little bit of play but not a lot.

"Mainstream" is just another word for consistency.

I don't have any comments on the new cards, but I'm happy to see the "two dual-colored" rule for Type-2 change.
