Yup. You read that right.

I was thinking recently and remembered this thread (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/new-card-ideas/son-of-man/msg492159/#msg492159). The idea seems as sound now as it was then, and it got me thinking: how many names of Jesus are there? More specifically, how could they work as cards?

As pointed out toward the end of the linked thread, the identifier "Same unique card as Son of God" keeps the deck building restraints - you can't have multiple SoGs in your deck, including all of these - while making NJ usable only with SoG, and not with these.

I am a T1 player, as will probably become painfully obvious fairly quickly. Suggestions on how to balance these for T2 are welcome.

I realize that most of these would never see play even if they didn't mean you didn't get a SoG, but I think most of them are at least interesting ideas (and, to some extent, match the meaning).

I'm not sure about this one. The idea is more "get past their defense at the cost of giving them heroes" than "turn my defense into heroes".  The weird X serves to keep it balanced a bit - it's stronger early game, but there won't be as many evil characters out and vice versa. And, of course, SoG for everyone is either great or terrible.

Huge battle changer. Not sure if this works retroactively, but it seems a bit situational. Not sure if it'd be used a lot, but I suppose it's akin to Grapes in the fact that it works both offensively and defensively.

Not quite sure how to word the ability, and if it applies to everyone it's supposed to apply to.

The inclusion of the hand stops you from setting aside all your heroes in territory and then playing someone down from your hand. Doing so isn't a bad thing, but this adds a little extra cost to the power of negating evil.

Lamb of God

Herod's Temple on steroids. Anything that can target a good card targets this, so with any luck it shouldn't be too hard to get rid of (especially if GoYS is reprinted to be placed in territory, resulting in a few more "discard good in territory"). Not sure if worded the last part right - the idea is to be able to play it after you're being discarded, like an interrrupt (but working against CBN).

No secrets! The intent is that all players play with their hands face-up. You always know what your opponent's have, and they always know what you have.

Rezzes both your heroes and your opponents', but can be used multiple times (maybe).

That's all I've got right now. Any other suggestions (on the above or for others)?

Yeah, I know. A lot of these are fairly underpowered, especially considering you have to give up SoG.

On the weaker ones you could include the identifier, "Does not count against Dominant cap."

Updated Good Shepherd (the one specifically mentioned as woefully underpowered) and added a new card (Bread of Life)! A few more in the works, too - keep an eye out!
