It's Falling Away
-
I like. it is better and worse at the same time. it is in territory, so it can be discarded, but it stops 2 dominants as well. makes it where people might use either one.
-
This is a pretty decent twist on a classic.
-
That is cool!
-
I would support this idea more if it protected ALL Lost Souls from discard. More balanced.
-
but then it stops your burial to. I'd rather just stop my opponent not playing stuff.
-
Well I don't want my opponent to be able to play doms at all, but that doesn't make sense.
You are proposing enhancing an existing dominant to counter two dominants instead of just one, and in a time where now we have dom cap and each slot is more important. If you're going to add on to Guardian like this, then you'd have to make it balanced, and you'd have a choice about whether to include Burial or use the old Guardian.
-
with how it is, you can discard it. It is placed in territory, so a card that says discard a card in play would kill it. you cant do that right now, because Land of Redemption is not considered in play. so I think that is a good balance. either garentee protect in LOR, or protect both of them, and hope they dont kill it.
-
What is going to discard it? Seriously, find all the cards that do that, all I can find are:
Desecrate the Temple (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Desecrate_the_Temple_(RA)) (better target than SoG to me anyway...)
Abomination of Desolation (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Abomination_of_Desolation_(RA))
That is it. Unlike Good, Evil does not have things that just target "good cards," they specify character or enhancement when they target things in play for an effect. If you can find more, then maybe there is an argument to be had, but as it stands there is just no weakness to having Guardian in territory in 99% of games.

If this were a real card I think it would get some playability use and no one would use the anti-burial LS anymore. ;D
