Name: Redeemed
Type: Good Dominate
SA: Convert one lost soul to a hero in the brigade color of your choice and place in your territory.
Verse: Psalm 106:10
He saved them from the hand of the foe; from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.
-
If this card was made, Redemption would break. Insanely OP'D
-
Maybe if it only said, "Convert one captured character in your land of bondage..."

he's got something there :o

Not if it was changed to:
"Place on a lost soul in your opponett's land of bondage. It is now a 7/7 hero of the brigade colour of your choice under your control. Place hero in your territory."
-
It's really just another way to get rid of a lost soul in your land of bondange like burial. The verse rings true to action of this card. God the redeemer is resucing a soul from the enemy. Rather than gaining a lost soul in your land of redemption you gain a hero. This may be another way to gain access to a site lockout deck.
-
The problem is, it makes it far too easy to "lock" your opponent out in a normal Type I game. If you play Burial, Son of God, New Jerusalem, and Redeemer on 4 of your souls, that leaves 3 for your opponent to rescue, which is not enough to win.
-
They can still SoG and NJ there own Lost souls for 5 to win.
Anyways it was just an Idea...
Perhapse converting a captured character would be better said then...
-
if i were you i'd take mageduckey's idea for the sa.
it's balanced, fair, and sounds like a dominant i'd like to have in my deck against a deck that captures
-
true that. ;D

Micah + Hidden Treasures + Sword of the Lord + Rabshekah + 2K Horses + Confusion -opponett's Son of God +Harvest Time hopper = win.
-
ok so major LS lock out like cameron said OP'd ok so say u have a 7 lost soul deck SoG NJ thats 5 burial 4 this card 3 they would only have 3 LS's to RA against.
Ok so I agree. This is the updated version.

the pic looks awesme for the dominant
-
Just a random thought, instead of turn into hero, how about evil character? It might help your defence
-
wow, you just posted 4 out of the last 6 posts....
I like the updated version btw.
-
I like the next to last one. It's suitable for the effect
-
Sheesh, what's with all the really random images?
-
thanks for all the picture ideas!

Yet another reason for T1 to go to 7 LSs and T2 to go to 9. ;D
Godspeed,
Mike

I really like the updated special ability of this card idea. I would be all for it and it would be a cool one time counter to capture decks. It could actually help heroless decks too given that you could capture a guy then convert him so you can use him.

If a deck was heroless then it wouldn't have any good enhancements, right? I wonder how a single hero could help you even when you can't help him/her.
-
That's not the case. Josh is the authority on Heroless decks.

That'd be an offense-less deck. A heroless deck has Good enhancements just no heroes.

Oh I see. Somehow get your opponent's heroes, right?
-
Not exactly, Usually you convert your own evil characters to heroes.

A website I made about it.
