Title: New Dominant + Remake for Everlasting Beings and a new John
Post by: megamanlan on March 06, 2017, 01:07:57 PM
Well, I've decided to try my hand at making a Dominant that isn't made for a specific deck.

Spoiler: Alpha and Omega (hover to show)

Spoiler: John (hover to show)

Spoiler: Everlasting Beings (hover to show)

Thoughts and opinions welcome!

Alpha and Omega is just another version of Angel of the Lord.  Redemption already has 40%-60% of all T1 rescues accomplished by Dominants; why push that higher?

And John can recur it every time he attacks or enters territory.  Not to mention he also recurs Son of God, Grapes of Wrath, and Christian Martyr every time he enters battle or territory.  3 Redeemed Souls per turn FTW!

John's TC. His search is once. I also mentioned, that he'll be excluding SoG in his search.

As to Alpha and Omega... I wasn't sure what else to put for the O.T. side, but that seemed the best as the O.T. Covenants being about keeping pure and showing the true God was with Israel and removing evil from Israel.

John's TC. His search is once. I also mentioned, that he'll be excluding SoG in his search.

Here's the REG definition of Territory Class characters:

"Territory Class Character
Territory Class characters have abilities that activate when placed in battle in the same way
as all other characters. The abilities also activate each time the character is placed in a
territory.
Territory Class character abilities that are active outside of battle are active while
the character remains in the territory. Territory Class Characters are distinguished by a tan
icon with a tent and palm trees below the icon box."

Per the bolded portion, TC characters activate each time they are placed in a territory or battle.  So in one turn, you could place John in territory (get SoG from deck, play it), attack with him (get SoG from discard, play it), then if John survives the battle, he goes back to territory (get SoG from discard, play it).

I guess the point is moot; even if his ability was once-per-game it would be overpowered.

Your ignoring the point that I said it will already exclude SoG. I'm just not on a Computer right now to add that. Your basically claiming it's OP because it can grab SoG when I already said it can't.
As to that, I was under the impression that TC Heroes had to leave the field and come back to use their TC effects again. I'll change that effect to "When played" then.
