Random Lost Soul card special ability ideas

Just randomly thought of some Lost Soul card special ability ideas. Not sure what I would name them but here they are.


1. If an opponent draws 6 or more cards this turn protect this Lost Soul from rescue.

2. When you put this card in a site , remove the top card of 1 opponent's deck from the game.
If it is a dominant place it back on top instead ,  if it is a Lost Soul put it in play instead. Maybe used once per game

3. When this Lost soul is put in a site select two random cards from an opponent's hand and return them to the top of their draw pile. 

4.  No dominant cards can be played during the first round this card is put in play.

5. May only be rescued by a lone Hero


Any other thoughts or ideas on them??

1. I like that one, it is a Speed Bump that is actually effective (though it only protects itself).
2. Gut reaction was not to like it, and to feel that it is too powerful, but I'd have to think about it.  The ability in Redemption terms (I think) would be:
"Once per game when this Lost Soul is placed in a site, reveal top card of an opponent's deck:  If it is a Lost Soul, put it in play.  If it is a dominant, return it to top of deck.  Otherwise, remove it from the game."
3-4. Gut reaction is against it, but they are unique.
5. I like this one.

1.  I like this.  Agreed with Redoubter that this would probably be more effective than Speed Bump, and I like that it only protects itself.  Limits its use in Type 2, but decently strong for Type 1.

2.  I like this, too.  It's strong, but the once per game limitation and inability to hit dominants keeps it from being broken on my initial read.  Question - this would not reset if shuffled, correct?  What about Type 2, with two of these in a deck, does each get to trigger once, or just one trigger overall?  I'm not as up on 'once per game' rules as I should be.

3.  Back it down to one card from hand, keep the random aspect.  "When this Lost Soul is placed in a site, topdeck a random card from an opponent's hand."
        - This could actually be a cycle of souls, using different triggers and zones to put cards from hand.  Maybe topdeck could be a chosen card from opponent's hand, and a different soul could underdeck a random card.  Could also set aside a random or specific card for a certain number of turns.  Maybe 'tuck' (place X cards from top of deck) a card.  Instead of 'when placed in a site', could be when drawn, or placed in LoB, or when placed in LoR, or when exchanged.  Just thinking out loud, but there's a decent amount of design space here.

4.  This one's a bit too much.  Very bad for multi-player.  It's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure what I'd do to take that and make it work for multi.
5.  Anti-NJ souls FTW.  Love it.

1. Yes
2. I'm not sure the remove is to big of a deal although I'd like to see it under deck doms.
3. Make it like pilot select 2 cards randomly from opponents hand and opponent must under deck one of the randomly selected cards.
4. I'm not sure hurting doms bad in multi is a bad thing. Multi is totally broken and could use something like this to totally neuter decks with 1 or 2 defensive cards winning tournaments. Plus the FBTN LS still exists. Maybe you make a soul intended for multi by saying if drawn in a multi game restrict dominant a from being played for 1 round.
5. Sorta vanilla but with scattered out there and now the black/gold version it could be very beneficial for defenses.
