Superheart. However, I think magicians have qutie enough characters now. What they really need is enhancements IMO.
-
I kind of agree, but a part of me also likes that Pale Green is kind of like the Evil Silver. Ridiculously good Characters, somewhat lacking in the Enhancement department. Another problem is that the Bible doesn't really talk about magic so much as its practitioners.

The Bible also doesn't really talk about Antiochus IV Epiphanes. :P

yea! i like them all but we do really need enhancements now

Yes it does:
28 The king of the North will return to his own country with great wealth, but his heart will be set against the holy covenant. He will take action against it and then return to his own country.
29 "At the appointed time he will invade the South again, but this time the outcome will be different from what it was before. 30 Ships of the western coastlands [d] will oppose him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant.
31 "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
I think that enhancements specifically for Magicians should be limited. Sure we have Divination, but if we also had Sorcery, Witchcraft, Wizardry, Soothsaying, etc. then Redemption starts to become more similar to other games that emphasize Magic...like, Magic. I think that Magicians are, as a theme, designed to go with other brigades. Damsel, Astrologers, Users of Curious Arts, and now Balaam, Manasseh, Laban, and Chaldeans can already use non-pale enhancements. Enchanter can use orange enhancements in his own way. And even of the ones in this thread (which are great by the way), half of them are dual-brigade, and Witch of Endor and WwFS go great with Orange.
Finally, Pale Green has good (playable) enhancements that Magicians can use. Forgotten History and Death of Unrighteous have two of the best abilities of Evil Enhancements in the game. So I really don't think more Magician-specific enhancements are needed.

Yes it does:
I'm sorry, what I meant was the Bible doesn't really talk about the authority of christ. I mean, obviously if it did, AoCP would have a reference. ;)
(Seriously though, I was thinking of the RoA emperors when I said Antiochus.)

I love wizards

I love wizards
See? That's exactly what I mean. Too much magic in Redemption, and the young, impressionable teenage boys start thinking that being a wizard is awesome. Now Josh is probably going to become a Wiccan or join a Cult. And he might even start to read Harry Potter. The horror.

Magicians are OK. But I still think Magicians need some more people with actual powers that are usefull. Yes I too would also like to see some enhancements for them.
-
I think wizards could be very powerful.

How? Wouldnt that just give the opponent initiative?

Decreasing your strength gives opponent initiative?
Wizards is nice not only because it gives you better initiative, but because you can snipe some lower defense characters with it. Combine it with PwD or some card that increases ECs' strength, and that's really powerful.
Not to mention, he is generic.
