Title: Lost Soul - Outnumber
Post by: Bobbert on August 22, 2013, 01:32:50 PM
Spent the last couple days looking for a good verse for this. I could've sworn I remembered Paul saying something that would go well with this, but I can't find it now :P Anyhoo, may as well post it like this.

Lost Soul
If the number of heroes in battle is greater than the number of Lost Souls in play, protect all Lost Souls from rescue.

Pretty self-explanatory. Hurts huge bands, can be a bit of a problem early game but not super restrictive in the endgame.

I like it! Unless, Isaiah's Call is out and the Negate Soul is out.....otherwise great soul IMO!

I can name two souls that the new SOG can't negate. ;)

2-Liner and CBP.

So the CBP is actually cbp?

I am aware. It is a great combo, but by no means unstoppable.

I think that making note that things that negate souls would... negate the soul seems a bit redundant. :P

Cards that grant CB-Anything are CBN themselves.

This.  The CBP LS is so powerful because not even SoG or the FBTN LS negate it.  You need a Covenant active.

The new SoG effectively negates it, though, as removing it from play means it's ability isn't active. ;)

Only the phase after, but if it was during battle the CBP ability would stick until the end of the battle phase. :)

Actually, if it's during battle phase I believe that it remains active for the end of the phase. So if you attack, play DoG, the first evil enhancement is still CPB.

That depends on if it's a trigger or a continuous ability. If it is a continuous ability, you'd be correct. If it's a trigger then it can't fire if it's not in play when the condition is met (i.e., the first evil enhancement is played in a battle).

I don't rightly know which it is.

Either way, that's a discussion for another thread (*goes to make one*).
