I had an idea for a lost soul, I think its relatively balanced, but input would be welcome.

I really like it, but it doesn't help since we can't rescue our own souls.

Easy fix, change the second part of the ability to "search your deck for Son of God and remove it from the game to place this card in an opponent's land of bondage and rescue it."

Thats good if you don't have NJ or it got discarded already... Would be interesting to see in a game.

I don't really like it.

Too many games will be ended simply by someone drawing the soul and then playing saving it.

Soul gen, and deck search are both great abilities. This is both and has no cost or deck requierments.

There is the risk of not getting to play NJ and if u draw that soul free SoG the ability is useless.

Still overall agree with Jerome

What if the cost was similar to the hopper not counting towards soul generation?
 Perhaps negate the soul if opponent plays any two dominates prior to drawing it?

You get to search out SoG, yes, but you do not get to use NJ at all, and it still gets a soul out for your opponent to rescue.  There are already cards to let you search out SoG, so you could use one of those to win the game if you only needed one soul anyway.

Edit: Did you guys think you'd be able to play NJ with it?  You don't get to play NJ because it has to be play simultaneously with SoG and with this soul you never play SoG

The ruling says that Heroes and Doms can't rescue your own lost souls. If a card directly counterdicts a game rule, the card always wins unless its not specifically counterdicting a rule. (like SoG doesn't directly counterdict a game rule, it inadvertanly does, which means Game Rule wins) But if a card is directly counterdicting a game rule (i.e. The Long Day with 2 Battle Phases) the card wins.

I like the idea though.

Agree, but he did end up posting a change the wording on the card so it doesn't matter anyway.

I like the card idea, and it would lead to a lot of strategy in deck-building, especially with dom cap.  Do I want to forgo NJ and put this soul in for a quick single rescue?  Does my troll deck use it?  Would I put it in, but still use NJ and be okay with this soul helping or hurting?
