I'll get roasted for this, but I'm just thinking outside the box and having fun ;)

Might as well be a dominant that you place in your LoR to change the win condition. Overall the idea is very interesting.

I don't think it's overpowered, if anything I think it's underpowered. Obviously it would need to be reworded so it doesn't break T2 but other than that I see nothing wrong with it.

Yeah, originally I was going to word it "Your required number of Redeemed Souls to win the game is 2 fewer" or something like that, in order to work properly for both T1 and T2... But I didn't like the wording, and when I changed it, T2 was forgotten about as it should be ;)

I mean why not just make it a dominant that places in your LoR and counts as 2 lost souls and make it a deck requirement to be your only good dominant. I mean it's basically a lesser SoG + TSC with the downside of not being able to have any other good dominants in your deck :P

Having this get two rescues plus being able to use 6 evil doms would be crazy... :o

Yeah, but you don't get SoG/TSC/NJ/AotL, which is basically 3 rescues. Plus no Woes.

I mean imo SoG and AoTL and CM should count as 2 dominants for deck building purposes imo....

There's a difference between a card straight rescuing 2 LS, and a card that lets you win when you get 3 more Redeemed Souls. The first is waaaaaaaay more powerful, because any LS you rescued earlier in the game count towards your win total. The way this is worded, they don't.

A couple years ago Josiah experimented with a deck that was SoG/NJ and 5 evil dominants. Essentially a power/speed offense (lots of drawing and CBN combos) with 5 dominants to stall block (counting Women's Falling Away as a "block" as this was pre-CoW).

Oh ok now I get what the ability means. you could have rescued 4 souls before playing the card but then you would have to rescue 3 more in addition to those. So it would really only work if you only have 1 or none rescued souls before you play the card.

Ok, I've modified this to take care of the T2 complaints.
Also, just realized this card would be sick in Booster Draft :o
