I Love Jonathan's Armorbearer He is awesome and his ability is nicely relevant

Ozem is broken. He can simply just discard a good enhancement and pick it back up along with even more. He should probably say # of sons in battle

I think david is missing the word (evil) after the word "an" near the end of the end of his ability.

Most of the sons of Jessie are way over powered, especially when added to the Sam banding chain.

Angel under the Oak --> Samuel --> Armor-bearer -->Asahel --> Ismaiah --> Shimea --> Eliab --> King Hiram
       Draw 2                     Draw 2                                                  Draw 3          Draw 3        Draw 1    Draw 1

Total of 12 drawn cards.

I really don't see any reason to have a "Sons of Jessie" theme. You only ever really hear their names, even 2 of the verses you have are where Samuel passes over them. They're not like the sons of Jacob in that they each became tribes and nations. The idea would work better for a "David's Mighty Men" theme :2cents:

-Also, why are you posting the same cards on the new submissions thread? I thought the idea of a new thread would be new cards, not ones that are on the Jan one.  ???-

Elhanan is crazy strong, your talking about giving an ability that could be discarding 5+ cards in a single ra. It would be better if it said something like place X beneath deck. You could even mimic the water jars ability but that would be very strong as well.

Ittai banded to King David is almost an auto rescue. I would change the ability to discard a human in territory. His banding ability is already awsome so as he is now he is OP.

King Cyrus is good and balanced but wouldn't see play because OT purple already has several fortress search abilities and they can use Throne of David, Cyrus can't...

I agree, Elhanan and Ittai are way too good. However, I do think King Cyrus would see some play for his band+draw.

Ittai is perfect. It's just what we need to punish small defenses. One evil character doesn't make much of a difference except with the stupid stand alone decks. I love it.

Elhanan is a bit OP.

Shammah is really wordy. I don't know how to fix it, but for such nice art, it seems to be sad it's getting covered...

Ittai's banding ability is already an awesome bonus to several FBTN banding chains and again Ittai Banding to King David is practically SoG.

I think if the discard in battle stays the CBI needs to go away

I'd be willing to let it just be band to David. Considering FBTNB decks are already great, we don't need to throw them another great tool.

I think Awoken Warrior is kind of creative and like it but I would add a "add lost souls to play" clause so your hero isn't discarding lost souls. Not exactly what he is supposed to be doing  ;)

I really like the Awoken Warrior (art and ability), but I would word it differently:

"Negate evil weapons. If opponent shuffles a Lost Soul or discards an artifact, discard the top X cards of his deck (put Lost Souls in play instead). Cannot be negated by an Evil Card."

Just how I would do it. :2cents:

+1 I think the way cactus currently words such cards is 'put lost souls in play instead' hence my desire for you to change the wording.

All it really serves as is a soul generator so why all this commotion that it helps Sam decks? Gardenciples have a 28/24 CBN band and more.

The Soul Generation only works if all your heroes are W.C. Sam is not.

Huh, I actually like Sons of the Prophets. Eleazar has a pretty pointless SA, but Sons of the Prophets is a pretty cool card.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
