0/0 Rainbow Territory-Class Good Enhancement
Place in your territory: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abram/Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Jochebed, Rahab, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jepthah, David/King David, and Samuel gain the idenitifer "NT Hero".
"All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth." Heb.11:13

Don't forget to make it place, unless you want it's effect to only last one turn. You also only need to say "David" and it'll cover King David.

I had an idea for the heroes mentioned in Hebrews 11 - NT reprints. They would be NT because they would have Hebrews 11 as their verse, and I think reprints could build some variety in deckbuilding. New abilities for unique characters means more choices for the strategizing deck builder.
For example, Jacob and Moses are both really good as they currently are, but why not use the opportunity to give them the additional brigades they need? Both were prophets, so you could at least add Green as a brigade to each. Obviously Jacob should lose his "Play" ability if he gains Green, so just give him a new ability entirely.
Plus, some cards like Jephthah and Noah scream for reprints. I know things like this bend some Redemption stereotypes, but I think Redemption could afford to break out of its mold a little bit.

Thanks. That's exactly what I had in mind. Edited.

"Hero" isn't an identifier, and could cause problems if one of them got converted. Just let them gain "NT"
-
I have had a similar idea, although it wasn't limited to that list, it was more like: "Place on an OT Hero mentioned in the NT: That character gains "NT" identifier."
That way you have a few more options, although I haven't actually checked on the amount of options that would be, and I'm not sure if it would be too much, but the ability is shorter and means people actually have to look for options in the Bible.

"Place in territory: Your Heroes mentioned in Hebrews 11 gain N.T."

I would dearly love to have more card abilities like this that require someone to actually open the bible. Unfortunately there's little precadent for this :(

There are already several cards that use this.

I can think of cards that say things like "1 Chronicles hero", but then again those hero cards have that reference on them. Can you give an example of a card that mentions a portion of the bible where you would have to know the bible to know who it applies to?
Thanks.

Joab (P). Heroes mentioned in I and II Samuel includes a lot of Heroes that have references not in those books.
That's the only one I can think of, though you also need to know that cards without references (older Promos, Threatened Lives, etc.) are OT or NT in a lot of cases.
EDIT: I just saw that the Play As is wrong. Joab can band to Caleb (FF) for example.
-
Threatened Lives is noted to be from Esther.
Do we need a Card to make Joseph and Gideon more OP? That would be my simple question.
Otherwise, it's okay, maybe you could just say "are treated as NT Heroes."
-
Joseph I can see (giving him access to NT prophet stuff), but all the good NT Gold is restricted to Luke/John....
-
I'm just talking of the NT Only soul. Like I want a CBN Protected from anything Gideon getting one of the 2 LS's he can't get in most decks.
-
FBTN soul already makes that more than easy to do.

Yea, but that's easy to get rid of, Have u tried to get rid of a Place Enhancement?
