11/3 Red/Purple/White/Green hero. Class: Warrior.
May play an enhancement involving music. Immune to Phillistines. When Davids harp is on David, he may band to a musician. May negate play abilaties.
Identifier: May activate Davids Harp on David.
-
The activation of David's harp should be an identifier.

Fixed.

Also, I'm fairly sure David should be Warrior Class.
-
Yes he should definitely be Warrior Class.

It makes sense. He's now WC.
- Should he be able to use teal enhancements? If not, I can make his ability so that he cant.
-
I wouldn't make him MC i would make him Purple/White/Red/Green and make him negate play abilities to stop HT abuse.

I made the ability: May negate play abilities. And changed the multicomlored to 4 brigades, not Gold and Teal.
-
If anyone is still interested in this, the plan for the player-made expansion is to make 4 different single-color Davids. An ability like this is something that might appear on a white David.
-
I frankly hate that idea with a burning passion. I don't want to hurt anyone but I like the idea of one really good king David because he was the most epic character in the bible IMHO. Besides we already have a two green david's, two red david's and one purple david so I think we need one that covers everything.
To the card right now it can't be a may because then you can still abuse HT whenever you want.

I like the idea of multiple balanced Davids, because he was one of the most versatile characters in the Bible.

1.) I agree, there should be one David. Multicolored would be the best, but perhaps we start with a basic, single brigade "David" that turns into the Multi King David after an event.
2.) That player made expansion is still around?
-
If you do that, historically what color would he be first? Red, White, or Green? Part of me is thinking White, he had played music long before he faced Goliath I'd imagine...:P

Yeah and when my blasted overtime ends I will be more active in it :P

I was thinking either Red or White. White's a good argument, but his battle against Goliath is what Young David is best known for.

but White would give the boost musicians need. Something like if after battle King Saul is not in play David becomes King David, along with another ability benefiting White.

I like that, it helps trim Sam decks. Perhaps negating SA's on ECs, unless an enhancement is played? (I don't know how to word that so it works.)

Multiple Davids is the way to go. A David with 4 colors and any worthwhile SA is too powerful, but he is one of the central figures of the Bible, so he should be powerful. Having 4 strong David cards that focus on the different aspects of his life is much more doable than trying to balance an all-in-one. It also avoids the issue of having an SA that makes sense for a Musician, a King, a Giant Slayer, and a Prophet.
