Thought about making it two-colored to limit abuse, but even being generic (and without a band ability), and since he has to be defeated to place, I thought it would be okay as is.

I like it. Very interesting concept based on a very sad scripture.  I would try to somehow connect them with Suicidal Swine Stampede (i.e may play SSS or something like that)

I thought about that but figured it'd fit better with the heretic theme with the Site ability (and adding something about SSS on top of that would have made it too long).
