Title: Gamble
Post by: lightningninja on May 07, 2011, 11:13:17 PM
Titled something with taking lots
Multi-Colored Good Enhancement -- Territory Class
Roll a die. If the result is 1-3, draw 3 cards. If not, your opponent draws 3 cards.

needs to specify the number sided die.

Or maybe that's the point. ::)

You could also have a coin flip instead. Or maybe an Angry Mobesque card spin.

Also, why is this a good enhancement?

That's a cool card.

I didn't see that is was a good enhancement until you pointed that out. And I would have to agree that it should be evil.

That's wierd, I thought it would be fun if cards implemented the use of dice, but I also thought people would hate the idea... I guess I was wrong.

I like it because its kinda creative and it would be pretty darn cool in an Abom deck. I don't know if it would see any use in any other decks because I would be worried that my opponent would get to draw but with gifts up its kinda cool.

Good point, it should definitely be evil. I'm gonna post a couple more cards along this train of thought.

Yea, it should be Evil. But u don't need to specify what sided dice it should be, the smallest is 6-sided and it would be stupid to use a bigger dice. But I like the idea other than that.

Actually, the smallest is 4-sided, in which case it would be a 75% chance to get the draw.

Actually, there are 3, 2, and 1 sided die.
3's are just weird, two's are more commonly known as a coin, and one is a sphere.

3 sided die. Useless in most situations

With a 3-sided die, I assume the side facing down is the result you'd use. :P

You should say a random player instead of a die.

"Roll a random player?"  ;)

you roll it parallel to you. the side facing you is the one you go with. the problem being that it usually jumps around and twists and half the time there isn't a side facing you.

Sounds like Angry Mob.

Nah. My Angry Mobs always end up pointing right back at me. :(

Angry Mob is too useless!
Then u can just say that u have to use a 6-sided dice at least.

Like territory class enhancements, they could just make rules about the dice cards.  One would be that it must be a six sided dice.

saying what type of die it has to be, rather on the card or a blanket rule, is a must. if not this scenario plays out.

Draw X cards
*X=result of rolling a die

"Okay"
*Rolls D-100*
Didn't say I couldn't...
*Rolls 98*
Good thing I played this first turn.

Rules would only let you draw up to 16 but assuming you played a couple cards down before playing that one you could end up drawing up to 16 cards. Broken much?

There wouldn't be a card like that, or if there were it would specifically say 'Roll a 6-Sided dice.' then it wouldn't matter. I didn't say that all cards that roll a die can only be 6-sided or higher only the ones on this thread.
