I decided EC's needed an easier way to do human-human bands... after all of the amazing combos I've created with Gathering of Angels... However, I didnt want it to be too strong, so I put the limit on it. The limit was designed so it can work in T2, and you can even recur it and use it more then once. You can use it more then once on the same EC and gain an additional two uses per set-aside.
Thoughts?
(for those who cant see it: its a den of robbers reprint with the SA: "Set an evil human aside for three turns. Character gains the ability to band to any human Evil Character. Evil Character may use this ability twice for each time set aside by this card.")
-
I don't see why it needs a limiter. Habbitation of demons (which allows human to human to banding via band to human demons) does the same thing but is shinier.
-
Humans are a lot more versatile.

Meh, What if you wanted to band two 1/1 ec's together or something? Needless to say, I think human-human EC banding like this is much easier, but at the same time rather powerful.
Also, stopping human - demon - human bands is much easier... negate the demon in the middle and the band falls apart.

Humans are a lot more versatile.
They are but more versitile than gathered heroes?
-
Nope. But I don't think Gathering of Angels should've been made either. :)
-
Agreed, there are evil combos with gathering.
Maybe "May band to one human per turn. May not band to the same human twice."?

*Hugs gathering*

I like it

Wait wait! I got it! If a card has been discard off the top of your op's draw pile this turn, may band to any human ec.

You'd like that wouldn't you

like it some what but I think its way to wordy

Yes I would. It also goes along with the robbers idea. The top card was d/c'd (robbed) from the opp.
-
or what if "if you currently control your opponents card you may band......." and add whatever to the end?
-
Hm maybe so. Queen tah would be even more awesome then.
-
how about this?
"Set one human evil character aside for 2 turns. On return, evil character gains the ability "If you currently control one of your opponent's cards (excluding lost souls) you may return one of the controlled opponent's cards to their draw pile to band in one of your own human evil characters"
-
Idk, its hard to steal cards.

queen tah, gleaning the fields, taking egypt's wealth, wrestling with god, seven wicked spirits, not to mention any captured heroes/ECs.
Hey, you could even do it so that you start with 1 banding card, band to their character, then band to your character who's been set aside with robbers to get rid of a character that they might even be using.
-
Since it defaults to play all but queen and seven doesn't work because of the No ls/in play issue. The banding to one of their ecs works. I love the idea but it'd need more steal cards. Though a den of robbers seems more...IDEA
Den of robbers Gold EE
Place this in your opp's territory. Any time an evil character would discard the top card of that draw pile discard two instead. Any lost souls discarded this way go to owners land of bondage and discard this card instead.
-
ooh ooh oooh, how about...
Den of Robbers: Gold EE
Place in your opponent's territory. Each time opponent is forced to discard a card off the top of their draw pile, you may instead take the card into your hand, unless it is a dominant. May be used three times.
-
I am intrigued.

I guess I'm thinking a little against the flow here. Den of Robbers sounds more like an evil Fortress than an enhancement (and yes I know the original was an enhancement). I would also like to see deck discard be a viable strategy in type 2.
Den of Robbers: Evil Fortress
"Each time you take an opponent's card place it here instead. Then every time you discard a card from the top of opponent's deck, discard an additional X."
x = the number of cards held in this site
or
Den of Robbers: Evil Fortress
"If you play an evil card in battle with a form of thief, rob, steal, or plunder on the card and win the battle then you may take an opponent's enhancement in play to search opponent's deck, hand, or discard pile for another enhancement and place them on this fortress. Your evil characters may use enhancements here as if played from hand."
A bit wordy but I think that is my favorite idea. I'm not sure how to trim down the wording.
-
Does this work :)
Den of Robbers Evil Fort
May Hold any # of WA Class evil characters
Inserts StrongHold in the Desert (the red roa fort) SA but for Evil
Old Sa and Art used

I'd prefer no copy forts :-p
