Egyptians are legit. at least, they were when RoA came out, and Gold has gotten much stronger. mix Herod's with the Egyptians and it'll be a good deck. I'm one or two cards short yet, but I'll see if things have changed.

Pfft, gold is the worst brigade ever. Only complete nubs use it.
