First off, when does King Saul come back from Set-Aside? And the "May play an Enhancement" needs a "While in battle" limiter.

Also, just to update wording:
"Protected from Giants. Set-Aside King Saul until ____. When this card enters battle: Search Deck or Reserve for a Warrior Class Hero and add it to battle, then if another Musician is in play, You may play an O.T. Enhancement. Cannot be negated."

I can change some of the wording but King Saul get set aside the entire time David is in play. He comes back once David is no longer in play

Then you word it as "Set-Aside King Saul until David leaves play." Because how it's currently worded, Saul will be set-aside forever.

Not exactly it says while David is in play set aside King Saul. So if David Leaves play King Saul comes back. But I can change the wording around if it makes more sense.

Not exactly it says while David is in play set aside King Saul. So if David Leaves play King Saul comes back. But I can change the wording around if it makes more sense.

The "until" clause was already used, and the "while David is in play" would function as a Continuous effect with nothing saying when it comes back. For how you'd want it to work, you'll need to follow the wording of Two Possessed by Demons (which sets 2 humans aside until SoG is played)

I don't like David being an NT hero. He's mentioned in the New Testament, sure, but he plays a much larger role in the Old Testament. I honestly think making him NT would make him weaker, as he could no longer use cards like Council of Abigail, nor would he fit in with many of the red OT warrior class heroes, at least half of whom are his warriors. I like the idea of having one David be all four roles we've seen him in (Warrior, king, musician, and prophet), but I'm increadibly uncomfortable with him being an NT hero.

Yes I didn't catch that originally and I agree that David should be an OT hero. If you want an OT verse that says essentially the same thing as Acts 13:22 about David being a man after God's own heart, you can use 1 Samuel 13:14:

"But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you."

[This is Samuel speaking to King Saul about David]

I just thought it would be interesting to have a new testament reference to David. Especially since he is so powerful in this version that I made and the fact that he's four colors. But of course I could have used an Old Testament scripture there plenty. how about this?
