Balancing the Game

Sinning From the Beginning
Multicolor territory class enhancement

Place in your territory. All evil characters that enter your territory after this card has been played gain orange in addition to their original brigade. Discard this card when Son of God is played.
1 John 3:8
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been
sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to
destroy the devil's work.

(helps with garden tomb: standalones becoming viable but dependent on this one card = balance)

Emperor Caius Caligula (reprint)
Grey Evil Character
10/1
Each player may not play more than two cards during battle. No player may draw more than two cards except by a dominant. Cannot be interrupted.

(speed neuter)

Nations
Good Fortress
When this card enters play, shuffle all fortresses except this one into owner's decks (sidenote: they aren't negated). Each player may only have one fortress in their territory.

More to come...

The first one wouldn't really do anything against TGT.

Caligula sounds nice, but is of limited use.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I disagree. The characters who are given the extra brigade might have a much lower chance of being able to block, but being in play they give a much higher chance of blocking to demons, especially if the non-demons have a protect fort.

False. You would need two each or Orange, Pale Green, and Grey to let them block.

If one color of a multi person is ignored, the entire character is ignored.

Quote from: REG
A multi-colored character is ignored if any of its brigade colors are ignored.

This is true. However, if you have and orange/grey character and an orange/PG character in your territory, you have at least two orange EC's in play, so you can block with a regular orange EC from hand...right?

That's correct...but all that card would do is encourage splash. TGT is OP because it hurts mono-defenses just as much as the type of defenses it was designed to punish...this card would make it punish the type of decks it wasn't intended to punish and leave the decks it was designed to punish unscathed.

Actually, my mono defense usually laughs at GT.

I attack, my opponent either blocks or I choose Emp Caius Caligula to block. I band in Hur. I like it :)
EDIT: I supposed Love at First Sight would be easier

Except that his ability as written would be a prevent, which would stop neither Hur nor LaFS.

But it would stop the abuse of Gifts with it.
Gates of Hell is by far the best card in the game.  No questions asked.

It seems more like a protect than a prevent to me, or a restrict as that is being added to the new REG.
