The Tartan is actually already playable imo, and the new version's a bit much.

Blanket CBN is pretty radical, and on top of banding and being on someone who can wield 2kH...

Sargon is close to balanced, but he'd need to require at least 2 commanders or at least 4 in play or at least 3 in battle.

Assyrian Spear's wording would be less clumsy as "If used by an Assyrian, you may interrupt the battle and Discard this card to..."
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Tartan's second ability now require a Assyrian King in play. (The reason I redid Tartan is every time I would post an Assyrian defense, he would be one of the first cards they suggest be taken out. His second ability was only useful if your opponent played with Philistines)

Rabs requires another Assyrian in play (making him similar to Nergal who has practically the same ability)

Sargon now needs 3 Assyrians in territory to make X and Y CBN

Spear's wording is fixed.

Updated with a redo of their protect fort.

no further comments on the cards?

FWIW, Satudrday mornings are not usually a high-traffic time for Redemption players, as many of them are still asleep. You might have to wait awhile for more comments.

FWIW, Assyrians don't really need too much help. Nergalsharezer is one of the few advantages Babylonians have over Assyrians, and The Rabshakeh takes that advantage away. And Assyrian Spear makes even the old Rabshakeh too powerful.

Sargon is ok, but I don't think the 3 Assyrian requirement is needed.

Changed the first two characters up some.

I'm thinking of changing the second part of Assyrian Camp to something like this: "Each Upkeep Phase the same character is here, place a counter here (limit 3). When an Assyrian blocks more than one Hero, remove one counter to return a Hero to Owner's Territory"

This would make it unique and be a neat way to stop the long banding chains and the famous PhilBart. I chose this type of ability due to Assyrians being more return to hand or territory, while Babylonians are more capture driven.

I went ahead and changed the second ability on Assyrian Camp. I cleared it up where you can only remove a counter once  per battlephase

Should this say "if an Assyrian blocks 2 or more Heroes"?

Yes, it was a typo. Besides that was the ability OP, Balanced, or UP?

I love it. It's more powerful than most protect forts, but requires an investment.

Thanks, I was thinking the game could use counters more with either forts or sites to use an ability. It would make the game more interesting.
