I take it you are either Catholic or making fun of Catholics...
-
I'm pretty sure catholics don't consider her an angel but I could be wrong.,
-
I think BB means that they pray to her and stuff, so she kind of I guess has angel status, if you wanna put it that way.

She would be considered a "saint" not an angel. No one prays to angels in any branch of christianity soo I am not sure how praying to someone gives them "Angel Status..." whatever that means.
AS for the card... It is Fail. There will never be nor should there ever be, any combination of silver and another color for a hero card. If you ant angels in humans in battle, band them in.

She kind of has god status, and the closest good brigade there is to a god brigade is silver, so if a Catholic were to make a Mary card, I can definitely see it being silver (or maybe a dominant).

Before this gets out of hand...A Catholic has made EVERY redemption card you have ever played with...sooo since Rob did NOT make Mary a silver hero nor a dominant... perhaps we should re evaluate this conversation...

Since you don't seem to want to give me any credit, I have added an apparently necessary phrase to my post.
-
She kind of has god status
This is NOT true, whether you ask Catholics or Protestants. This thread is provocative.

I was just referring to the Catholic practise of praying to Mary instead of God. This is a tight trigger* issue for me, and I might have gone a little too far. I apologize if I offended anyone.
*Is this a phrase? I feel like I've heard it before, but I may have just made it up.

um, since when did not making characters certain colors mean that was set in stone? ehud, eli, and gomer say hi.

All of which are not silver...soooo my point stands. In redemption humans come in many flavors...Angels come in one...silver. Even warrior in traning was re-trained to be a human and not an angel..... sooooo. Yeah....

No, because Rob canned the idea of making angels any brigade but silver with that decision so if anything it proves my point. Humans are humans of any human brigade and angels are silver.
-
really? so tell me, how would you make an nt moses and elijah?

A human with wings!

??? not quite sure what this has to do with the price of beans in Texas.... soooo...yeah...

I'm curious as to what Warrior's intentions were for making this card...

Yes.
-
but they are obviously not human.
-
What would you call them?
-
Yes they are. Just because they have a resurrected body does not mean that they are not human. We dont evolve into angels when we die, we continue to be humans. Angels are beings that have entirely different purposes from us.
And currently we do not Have a NT moses or Elijah, we have and OT Moses and/or Elijah that gets banded in by the Transfiguration.
-
I can;t quote rob but i will say he has kept silver for angles only.
the point about NT moses and ELijah
Hebrews 12:22-23 KJV
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Hebres 12:22-23 NIV
22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect
things to note in heaven there is a distinction made between angles and the ever lasting human form.
*To say Mary should be part angle is an exageration at minumum. * this is my opinion if you want me to back this up start another topic or pm, i will be happy to either admit I'm wrong or prove that I am right through a debate but that is not the point of this topic.

no, they are not. humans are eartly beings. they are obviously not earthly beings.

Ok ..yeah.. ummmm. I am done with this.
First of all Scripture clearly states that there is a difference. You may not agree with that but it doesnt change the fact that there is a difference. If you insist on arguing dont bother posting until you have a scriptural reference that reffers to a human as becoming an angel in heaven or something like that.
second. EVEN IF YOU COULD...which you cant...The game dynamics of Redemption clearly state that silver brigade is for Angels only...not humans...soo I really dont know why you are making such a big fuss over this..
-
The term "human" has become a symbol of weakness, inperfection and mortality ("I'm only human"). But the fact is that God created humans perfect and immortal (as long as they follow God). Moses and Elijah are still humans, but they are dwelling with God.

funny you mention this as your opening statement.

what is downright HILARIOUS is that you havent provided a shred of scriptural reference yourself. also, where did i ever say humans become angels? perhaps if you paid more close attention and comprehend what im actually saying instead of assuming, you would understand where i am coming from.
second. EVEN IF YOU COULD...which you cant...
oh, i didnt realize i was talking to the game designer, who can do anything he well pleases.
The game dynamics of Redemption clearly state that silver brigade is for Angels only...
show me.
ooooooooooook. soooooooooooooo. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah.

a human has always been defined as an earthly being by redemption standards. operative word: earthly. nt moses and elijah do not fit this description.
-
nt moses and elijah do not fit this description. DO NOT EVEN EXIST!!!!!!
There, fixed it for you. Show me a NT moses Card and or a NT Elijah card and you win the thread.
-
While I'm no Biblical scholar, this passage seems to make a distinction between men and angels.
I Corinthians 6:1-3 If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
A very interesting passage that I was not aware of until now. Also, note that:
Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
The angels were created to serve God; we sit at his side. There's a difference. :)

its a hypothetical situation. you cant show me a king cyrus card either, yet that doesnt mean it will not be made. whats your point here?

while appreciated, your quotes still do not provide the character role we will serve when in heaven. we are obviously different beings on earth than we are in heaven.
for further clarification, i am not trying to suggest in the slightest that humans can become angels. i am suggesting silver can also be reserved for spiritual beings, such as the nt moses and elijah. not human, not angels. what better way to denote this than a human brigade coupled with the good spiritual brigade?

In that case, I can't say I disagree with you. :)

There's one human who is classified as silver by game rules:
