EDIT: Fixed all the ideas so far. Any more critiques, comments, suggestions?

I think Nero's Realm should be protected from Nero's SA. It wouldn't be biblically correct, but I don't think anyone would use this card if they couldn't use Nero because of it.
I like Altar of Gideon, but...what is it based on?

The hero decreases 1/0 till removes or decreases TO 1/0?
I think it just decreases 1/0 instantly and then stays that way.

Yeah, he wants to have a 4/4 judge reduced to an offence of 3 while they are in the fortress. So there is no gap with Crown of Thorns, I'm guessing.

yeah, so you can get all the EC's eventually. The big problem with Judges though is that there's pretty much no way to get past evil protection fortresses. That's what someone should make.

Nero's Realm - Silver Site

My thought for the change of wording is this: Your opponent RAs and doesn't have access to Nero's Realm cause there is an LS available outside of a site, enhs. are played on both sides then you Bury or SoG/NJ the LS and your opponent brings an access site into play. There is no first enh to be played, but the next one can be. Just my thoughts. I like the card.
I really like Altar of Gideon.
I like playing a Judges offense and being able to get a Judge out faster and into JSeat with the 1/* decrease is cool.
The hem of His garment has some good potential/uses also.

thanks for the help guys. Updated the cards. Bubbleboy, that was an altar Gideon made for God. After than Judges started popping up. And he was visited by an angel, so that's where that came from. It makes sense.
EDIT: added a few new cards. I want to make more cards that can be used by ANY theme for that brigade. Instead of, if using purple, having to use kings, or gold, having to use judges. Just trying to expand the color combinations and stuff.

I find it controversial that Transfiguration actually won't work with these cards. I say just make them each 5/7 and give Moses the traditional "negate all" ability and make Elijah CBN.

This is basically like preventing; all the evil stuff in battle when you play Transfig will still work after, so woe is you if your opponent has already played Confusion or some other mega-destructive card. Also, since you have to band to Elijah for it to work, then if you don't have Elijah in play when you use Transfig, you won't be able to use Moses' SA.

yep, that's right. But now you can use it on the 1/1 white hero to get initiative without worrying about not having enough number. Major boost! :)

I think Moses should just say "If Elijah is in battle" and not be able to band. That way, Transfig is just about the only card that can do what you want to do.

Wootage! I wish this was made. I like that it lets cards in battle stay. I would add 'Unless Son of God was played this turn.'

Why would he be? There are TONS of people that band to people of different brigades, like ittai to David, which is white to purple. I like having two different color to play enhancements on.

why should romans be able to always play the first enhancment?
Let's Assume that Nero's Realm is actually a real card right now. The Rescuer has .. say 6 cards in his hand including son of god and nj. I block with emperor Galba w/ the grey chariots. First, you discard a card from hand due to his ability (5) then i use the site's ability to make you discard another card from hand (4). Finally, I use the chariot's ability to play heavy taxes (2). Now, you have lost all your battle winners (assuming you kept Sog/Nj and the cycle just repeats next turn regardless of what your opponent draws. They will most likely only draw 3 cards and you will be able to discard them all. Not to mention the fact that they cant even stop this with AoTL in battle.
Moses is Too Powerful (10/10 FBTN w/ one way banding?) not to mention you can get him back after he is discarded.
Elijah - same as above, however when he bands to moses he loses his special ability (would be too powerful anyways if it couldn't be negated). A 20/20 fbtn combo is just too ridiculous.

Yeah, I'll make it two colored so not to abuse it in type two. I don't play type two so I don't know what will be overpowered or not. And you can already do that pretty easily. All that does is add 1 card to the combo. I think it works well with the theme. You can play aotl in territory(no emp protection cards), have more cards in your hand, heavy taxes can only be played once, use a pre-emptive territory or site discard. There's definitely ways to stop it. But it adds a little more for emperors and let's them get initiative every now and then. And it fits the theme perfectly. :)
For Moses and Elijah, it's not NEAR as powerfull as IA+heldai+helez+maharai+benaiah. Or even probably Jacob+captain cause you can now play banding abilities. And it discards itself after one rescue, unlike other fbtn combos. All you have to do is play burial or something and they discard their whole band to never be seen again, which ruins their hope of transfiguration cause you can only get one back.

If you can pull that 5 or more card combo off and use it effectively, then yes you should see some benefits from using that. However having 2 cards that simply band means you don't even have to try to have an uber combo

I think that powerfull cards are not things that playtesters are afraid of making. Micha, Asher, Aocp, RTC, These are all cards that are rediculous. And maybe people need a better defense if no one would be able to stop that. Holy of holies, anyone?

Eh...I don't think they really need one. EC's have all their protection forts that (most) heroes don't, which helps tremendously.

The placement ability is a little OP, since the Deacon cannot be discarded at all, even in defeat by the numbers, etc. It should say "protect from discard and convert abilities," or maybe "protect from capture conversion, and removal." - Ooh, I like that! ;D

Yes, heroes have ZT, Obi's Caves, House in Bethany, Stronghold in the Desert, and whatnot, but EC's have more...I think.

But hero's protects help them in battle which is wayyyy better

Guys, I don't want to be rude but could you take that conversation somewhere else? I'd like to keep this thread just a discussion about the cards, so that it doesn't get too crowded.
And I will change it to discard ABILITIES on the deacon protect card.
And I will add the Moses and Elijah no chariot ability.

instead of "chariots doesn't effect this card" how about a remove from the game ability so people can't heal them when they are on their way to be discarded

Sounds good to me...although, does anyone else find it funny that Elijah himself would be practically the only hero on whom CoF doesn't work. :laugh: Seems a bit backwards.

I liked how transfiguration brings one of them back though... I'll add an identifyer or two to stop healing.

Please give suggestions. I think for the most part they could be made and would add great strength to certain themes, without being rediculous.

I don't think another unlimited access site is necessary, especially one that would make an already really powerful hero even more unbelievably useful.

I think these guys should have remove from game abilities instead of "Chariot of Fire doesn't work," and "cannot be healed" abilities.

Okay. And people will use brown. And maybe they should just make more brown usefull cards instead of ONLY making site-lock cards. Then people would still use brown. And I use brown without sites.
