The deck went 4-1-1. Goliath was intended to help with early blocks/underdeck the withdraw LS's, and also allow me to use Land Dispute to try to take away early access. Spirit of Temptation and SSS were in to allow me to band in my opponents EC's (ideally a huge Pharisee band) and then play SSS to clear my souls and my opponent's defense. The offense was pretty standard Disciples, with the blue Heroes and Abe's Descendant intended to be able to continually recur Wolves with Golgotha.

Wow, great combo with Abe's Descendant to recur Wolves in Sheeps Clothing for potential infinite blocks. What was the largest number of Wolves you recurred in a single game?

I knew you'd place with this deck and thought you might win it all. Thanks for not disappointing. ;)
I always thought Justin was the elite Alstad. The student has surpassed the teacher? :)

I was hoping. But I basically decided to throw the game vs. Nathan since he had had such a miserable day the day before...yeah, I'll go with that.

Justin played T1 at Nats. As such, his MTTPA membership has been suspended and is currently under board review. He is not qualified to be anyone's T2 teacher until his membership is reinstated. ;)

Quite possibly. If I had been able to draw a Spirit of Temptation in time, I might have beaten Nathan, as I had both Suicidal Swine Stampede's in hand ready to wipe out his defense. But it was just Nathan's day I guess.

Nice deck Jordan (you know it was the deck to beat all year). I didn't know they made a movie about it though...

Actually, with this specific deck, I probably never recurred more than 2. It was a much more effective combo in my Job offense deck with Heretic defense, where I had 4 Abe's Descendants.

Man this deck was a beast. I can't think of another deck that gave me more trouble this tournament season. Funny thing is this is the only Creepers deck that beat me this season, and it did it about everytime (about 5-6 times lol). Love the anti pharisee tech on the defense, spirit of temptation was about as troublesome for defenses as the creepers were for offenses. Great deck and great player. Look forward to playing you again this season.
