Life pretty much went non-stop after Nationals but I need to at least post my deck. I did have an amazing Throne build, to be honest, it was similar to Jayden's deck in the sense that it utilized TC heroes to negate my opponent's cards at practically no cost to me. That deck with Jeshua, Plumb Line, Solomon's Dream and A Soldier's Prayer is pretty insane. I challenged myself this year to try to win Nationals without Throne in T2. At a Regionals I attended I was smacked around by Shon and he had this awesome teal offense where he would use New Covenant to have a Dutiful Priest band to a Joshua or Jeremiah to be able to play Gifts and Offering first for a CBN draw 2 battle winner RoP. I told him how great that offense would be in T2 but I couldn't quite find a way to get everything out efficiently enough. When using teal in T2 you pretty much have to run Jet Priest so I started with that build and looked for ways to bring back my Captive Priests without relying on Valley of Dry Bones. I came up with The Liberating Angel to band in all four of my captured priests who would then exchange to four different priests pre-block. I would then have Jeremiah, Dutiful Priest, Joshua, Zechariah, or whoever I wanted and be able to play the first RoP CBN enhancement and get to draw 2. I would get my setup first turn every game and go into an Ithamar to have The Tabernacle out and a few other set up Priests with my Priests of Christ at the end to intimidate them into not blocking from hand first turn. Second turn I would go into The Liberating Angel to get back my 4 priests and capture them again to search my deck for four more priests if needed.
I contemplated over and over about swapping out the defense to my normal black defense but with an upgrade this year due to Joe showing my the Philistine Armorbearer trick to get the speed going, but I stayed with gray which was my downfall against Jayden, although he would have beaten me either way.
This deck is insanely fast and The Liberating Angel helps it that much more. I had a lot og great games at Nationals and I am happy that Jayden dominated his way to his title, well deserved.
