Title: Redemption Solitaire?
Post by: thomas.laird on July 24, 2016, 10:55:34 PM
Is there a game type made for Redemption Solitaire? I remember when I used to play MTG there were challenge decks that you could play against to try and boost your knowledge of the game mechanics and also just have fun. Is there any ways to do that with Redemption?

any help or insight would be awesome
Thank you so much!

Thomas.

There's really not a whole lot you can do with Redemption by yourself unless you play both decks, which is really only good for testing deck ideas. There's also no computer simulator available to play against a bot. As cool as that would be, Redemption is very complex that a program like that would take quite a hefty developing process.

All that said, Redemption is meant to be more a social game in the sense that you have to talk to someone in order to teach them how to play and get them interested. If, however, there's no one around and available I'd encourage you to check out Lackey (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/rtsonline-play/redemption-plugin-for-lackey-ccg-(out-of-beta)/ (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/rtsonline-play/redemption-plugin-for-lackey-ccg-(out-of-beta)/)) which is a simulator for playing Redemption online with other people all around.
