I was thinking recently about Redemption's necessity to play both offense and defense in the same deck, and the advantage that always goes to the offense because it draws 3 cards at the start of each turn. This is one of the reasons that I Am Holy is so strong - the offensive player will always get a restock of ammo to dump before an attack.
Thinking outside the box here... What if the draw rules for Redemption were changed so that in a 2-player game, each player draws 2 on each Draw Phase? That way the defense is getting restocked at the same rate as the offense. It would look like this:
Turn 1: Attacker does not draw. Defender draws 2.
Turn 2+: Both players draw 2.
This would also get LS in play a bit faster, as you draw a total of 4 cards each round instead of 3.
This could also be done in 3 and 4 player games, except that each player would draw 1 card on each Draw Phase.
Thoughts?

Would be interesting if the defender did not draw until attacked. That allows for more strategy/pacing if necessary but could also put attacking player in more battle challenge scenarios if they are trying to get opponent to draw a LS.
As we know, some mean things can happen if you battle challenge at the wrong time.

I like this idea!
