Which Card Design is more appealing to you?

EmJayBee83:
Honestly, I think card title placement across the top is a functional element.

My personal favorite layout would be modern L5R...

DDiceRC:
I prefer a card design where I don't have to hunt all over the cards for the main information. And I really dislike card titles that are not at the top of the card, since that makes finding your cards in your hand more difficult. The L5R would be acceptable; I don't like the LotR design. Magic is very functional, if not terribly attractive. Some combination of those elements would work for me, if I were inclined to try a new game. However, I'm down to two collectible games, and don't plan on starting any in the future for financial reasons, but I wish you good luck with your project.

_JM_:
Definitely title across the top.  I hold my cards in my left hand, and having the title along the left side is terrible for that.  Conversely, right side title would be awful for right-handed people.  Otherwise, somewhere between MtG and the LoTR style.

browarod:
I'm actually against the status quo and I like card titles along the left edge. When I hold cards in my hand I don't hold them each slightly below the one behind it so as a result the card titles are covered by the next card. In LotR I'm able to see the card titles while holding them normally in my hand, as well as the cost of the card (Redemption doesn't have costs like that so that's moot, but it's part of why I like it).

Daniel:
Thank you all for your insight. So far, this is the general layout I've created. Obviously it differs from type to type.
