I thought the first one was great. The second seemed underwhelming to me. Too long, too much talking. Could have cut an hour in the middle and not missed anything essential to the movie. Should have been more action scenes. Speaking of action scenes, hated how it was obvious the scenes were forced for 3d exploitation. Utterly hate when movies do that. Also the exact same music played during every single battle scene, welcome to cheesy superhero music city.

I saw the first one and was disappointed, and then waited for the Hobbit.

It had some parts I really liked, and some parts I really didn't like. Overall, I'd say the good outweighed the bad, though I didn't like it as much as the first Amazing Spiderman. It would've probably been as good as Raimi's Spiderman 2 if it wasn't for how messed up the plot was; they tried to fit in way too much stuff in one movie imo.
