Meh. It really wasn't that much worse than the auto-tuned version. Her voice is absolutely awful. The song composition is awful. Her singing is pretty bad. I'm just glad we recognize she's not a good singer.

I've never thought that I would appreciate that style of music as much as I did there. That version is so much better.

I know a bad voice when I hear one. Comparatively to her industry, that is a bad voice.

It is similar to when I watch hockey. Even though I have never played hockey professionally, I can assess one's talent at playing hockey fairly well. Does my lack of playing mean the assessment is not valid?

Ok, how about coming from someone who has "tried anything like that?" She has a bad voice, a rich daddy, and a single that's almost as bad lyrically as Speak the Hungarian Rapper's first big sensation.

That's actually the most tragic thing about this whole situation. Now a 13-year old girl who probably didn't really know any better was preyed upon by a large music label who convinced her to sing a ridiculous song that they wrote, and she's stuck with the stigma of being responsible for the song. Sure, she hasn't suffered financially from releasing the song (I read a report that she's received about $25000 in royalties from ITunes sales), but you'd better believe that there are way more people who are making way more money off of her, and they don't get stuck with the reputation of being awful singers. Obviously, my parents would never allow my sisters to do something like that, but if a record label conned either of them into sacrificing her dignity for a few thousand dollars, I would be pretty peeved.

I don't think that's a fair assessment. I'm pretty sure her parents paid the music company to help her make her song, so I doubt they convinced her to sign something ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if she wrote it.

With that being said people really need to learn some respect. Some of the things that people have said about her and put in their parodies is digusting. yeesh, just have a good laugh over it because its really bad ya don't need to say "go cut yourself and die". Although some of the parodies are well, funny.
