Hey all, I'm not yet posting my newest deck, but I was wondering... who here has ever made a 100 card + T1 deck? Also, how well did it actually work?
My current 105 card behemoth is 3-1 4-1 right now, and going strong.
I gotta say... having duplicate cards can be a lifesaver sometimes.
So, who else here was crazy enough to try these before?
Current wins in a row for the beast: 4.

Me (shocker eh?) mine was 200 with more negates than you could wish for. It lost once outa 5 games.

From what I know, metalpsalm is happy with his Big Boy. I think that might be over 150. Or maybe over 9000. Or maybe less than 0 percent.

so you mean it might be .4%?

The only "Fat Man" deck I remeber ever working was old Korys (the cactus guy) and it beat me long ago 8)

We made some 300+ card decks back in the day, but it was pre-warriors, so they were all horrible.
Still, having enough LS to almost make a deck by themselves is impressive.

Wow, an "over 9000" joke on this board of all places...I'm shocked, really.
I only had one deck with more than 100 cards and it worked decent but I wasn't getting enough of any one brigade for it to be truly effective. After three games (two wins and a loss) I decided to prune it.

yeah, with a deck this big, you pretty much need to go single color.

When i first started play i had a whoping 200+ Card deck, And i came in 5th out of like 30 people in a local tourny.
-
my first deck i built was 150 and ran 3 colors which banded together on the good side and 3 colors on the bad side that had all the big blockers and allowed banding of them all

I have a 105 card deck and can draw it all DURING BATTLE with no gifts of the magi or anything special. Just initiative. I love it. And then I have two of each sadduce and band them all. It's awesome. Or I have abihu and nadab. It's really fun to draw your whole deck in battle. Your opponent just waits while you play (you thought I was going to tell you) and then draw it all. And then organize. And then play coat of many colors and play authority of christ, and then what do you know you time out with one to zero. :) No, but it is really fun and your opponent doesn't expect anything.

Josh Hey placed at 03 Nationals using a 105 card deck. I believe in 10 rounds he had 1 loss and 1 time-out win if memory serves. He was also the only person to beat Kyle H. who eventually won. I wasn't actually there but I've heard quite a bit about that tournament from various sources. Maybe someone who was there could verify or correct my memory.

I was there but I was so far down the ladder it didn't matter :P

Iknow K Shride had a 120 card (or so) Monstrosity that he used last nationals. He beat Tim Maly with it!
-
Try about 150 or so, and he only built it to beat Tim Maly. I don't think he played it any other games.
-
Kevin has had large decks that he liked to call "monstrosity" in the past. The key was basically that he would use 150 cards so he could use 3 storehouses. Then each turn he would take 3 cards, 1 from each storehouse which would set him up with anything he needed after he drew his deck out. Sadly they changed fortresses to unique and this is no longer plausible.

And from Tim, no less! :D
