Hi there,
as topic says: Which defense can you adivse for either Priests or Musicians (individual offenses - not combined)?
And for which reasons?
Maybe I used the wrong search terms but could not find very much regarding Musicians Offense when looking at the past 2 years' results (well anyways I'd like to have more search and result list options in our forum's search).
Thank you in advance for your hints, tips and maybe cross-links!

musicians goes well with brown because of all the white/brown enhancements that involve music

A brown defense with warning against rebellion, today, and Broken covenant goes well with music. A brown/crimson Judaean royalty defense goes well with priests, if you are running Solomon's temple.

There are a couple possibilities for priests. Saducees have High Priest Ananias (and the older ones) who can use Urim and Thumim. Back in the day I used to run them with demons, and used Bronze Laver with all their bottom-of-deck access.

While it doesn't have a lot of direct synergy (like the DAE musical cards) I've often enjoyed running a fast gray defense with Priests. The new Moabites seem to fit right into that too.
If you're running priests with red then a black defense can also pair well with them.

Red I did not yet even consider with priests yet - where do they have their synergies? Currently I've just assembled a plain priest offense using Urim & Thumin + Solomons' Temple (the usual things).
As defense I used my crimson one since it is working quite well on its own. But it does not provide much synergy neither with Priests nor with Musicians (where I also used it so far).

In Fall of Man both Phinehas and Ahimaaz are Teal/Red so there's some synergy there right off the bat. Without looking at the new set, the main synergy is with Trumpet and Sword which is a Teal/Red Good Enhancement and The Silver Trumpets, which is an artifact that can let your Priest band to an O.T. Hero. A favorite target for that is Ahimelek, the Hittite for a CBN return to hand if David is in play.
