Title: Type Two Idea
Post by: DaClock on August 17, 2009, 09:32:08 PM
Okay, I have an idea for a Type Two offense that I'd like some help with.

I'm thinking I'd like to use the following.

The Garden Tomb
Habakkuk
Joanna
Micah
Benaiah
Habakkuk Stand's Watch
A New Beginning
Search
Provisions

The main goal would be rescuing lost souls with Joanna + Garden Tomb. Provisions would also rescue some. If my opponent gets too many EC's out I can use ANB. I'd keep their EC number down with Habakkuk Stands Watch. I think I Am Grace would work well if I use 4-5 copies of the unique heroes.

I'm not sure what defense to use. Maybe Gold? That way if they're using Gold and my Garden Tomb doesn't work I can use Miriam. Also, I could use Pagan Sacrifices + High Places which could be fun. Especially since they would go back into my deck with ANB.

Anyway, I'd love some advice or suggestions. What do you think?

For when they only have 2 ECs in their territory: Nathan/Hidden Treasures/Unity in Christ/Joanna

Rhoda/I am Patience also fits in nicely

I would use a defense that has a solid Fort killer.

Nathan would be important for this offense. And if you're going to have Joanna x5, you'll need to watch out for Samaritan Water Jar, or your TGT might never get a chance to work.

Looks real similar to my ANewbadoobadoo v2.30.01 deck.  I do use Nathan in mine.  Of course I always forget about Rhoda/I Am Patience.  I may have to consider it.  Oh, and I'm still using my Syrian/House of Rimmon defense.  Still needs some tweaking though.

You're going to have to get Brandon into T2 so you guys can fight it out at San Diego tournaments.   ;)
